Paul Pastorek is an integral member of President Robbins' Senior Leadership Team. He holds the position of Senior Vice President, overseeing a diverse array of responsibilities within the University of Arizona Global Campus.

Pastorek presides over various UAGC departments, including Enrollment Services, Student Services, Registrar, Student Affairs, Marketing and Academics. Additionally, he collaborates closely with University of Arizona leaders to provide oversight for critical areas, such as IT, finance, and human resources within UAGC.

His dedication to student success and educational opportunities is demonstrated through his prior roles as Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer at Loyola University New Orleans. Notably, Pastorek's leadership extended to the Louisiana Department of Education, where he served as the Superintendent of Education from 2007 to 2011. During this period, he orchestrated substantial improvements in academic performance statewide, particularly in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Pastorek's background includes significant roles outside academia. He served as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer for Airbus' U.S. government operations, was appointed by then-President George W. Bush as General Counsel at NASA headquarters in Washington, D.C., and was appointed by then-Gov. Mike Foster to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, serving from 1996 to 2004.

A proud alumnus of Loyola University New Orleans, Pastorek holds both a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Committed to fostering positive change, Pastorek's influence extends to various nonprofit education boards. He has contributed to organizations such as the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, CenterPoint Education Solutions (focused on K-12 academic assessments) and TNTP, formerly known as The New Teacher Project (a national education nonprofit addressing educational inequity).
